The bar is set really high for saying that you know what exactly happened. I wouldn’t speculate about how the universe was created. What we do know, from observation and according to the laws of physics, is that about 13.6 billion years ago the universe was very small. You can think of it in terms of a movie running backwards. The laws of physics apply for the length of the movie. But at the end of that period, when everything ends very near to the point we call the Big Bang, our ignorance takes over. Roughly, to start with, there was a lot of space-time. One theory for which there is increasing evidence suggests that there was initially a small bubble of space and time, which expanded exponentially fast.
Christianity: The Bible presents the creation of the universe in seven days. In six days, He creates the elements, the environment, the animal kingdom and lastly but not least humans. On the seventh day, God rests. Fr Savio Fernandes, Spokesperson, Archdiocese of Mumbai, says Stephen Hawking is using Physics to explain God, who can be explained only through metaphysics. He says the law of gravity can explain scientific phenomenon. Where does the law of gravity come from? There has to be an originator.
Hinduism: Existence is cyclical. The cosmos represents only one turn in the perpetual 'wheel of time'. The Universe expands for a period of time. It is made of eight elements – earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and ego. It is out of God's desire and his will that the other elements manifest themselves.
Chaitanya Charan Das, ISKCON: Hawking assumes that the laws of nature existed before the universe. He simply substitutes God with the laws of physics. Our experience shows that laws need an organising intelligence.
Islam: Allah created the universe and earth in six days though each of these days could represent months or years, how many is not specified. The Quran says Allah created everything: the solar system, the earth, the sun, the sky and life.
Maulana Zaheer Abbas Rizvi, Secretary, All India Shia Personal Law Board: Even if we agree with Hawking that our world was created by the big bang, where did those elements responsible for this phenomenon originate? Everything we see around us is created either by human beings or by God. The Quran has proof that Allah created everything.
Jainism: The universe has existed since infinity and has no beginning or end. Everything on this planet – from a drop of water, to the greenery, to the mountains – has a life of its own.
Atul Shah, Jainism scholar: I fully agree with Hawking’s theory that god has not created this universe or the earth. We are the authors of our destiny and can achieve salvation only by looking into our own souls. Science is an infant while religion is an Olympics gold medallist.

Is your life more socially depressing than mine? Prove it.?
I'm in mid-30s, I haven't gone out weekend nights in months (6+). I have nobody to go out with, for example, for dinner and/or a movie. Whenever I'm off from work, I just stay at home and watch TV or walk my dogs. At work, most of my co-workers don't sit down with me to socialize. After work, my co-workers go for drinks, but I don't get invited (they don't mention they went out until the next day). I'm not witty and don't have a creative sense of humor to make people laugh and like me.My ex-girlfriends (very few) have moved on and gotten new boyfriends, yet I'm still stuck wanting a girlfriend, but can't initiate a conversation with anyone, much less make a girl laugh.
I'm a good hard-working person, but that doesn't seem to matter to anyone from a social standpoint, because I feel I don't make a human connection with others. I'm not an expert on bars, automobiles, the NFL, building a picnic table, so therefore, if I do talk with somebody, it dries up fast, because I don't know much about anything. I watch alot of CNN, but people don't wanna talk about politics forever.
One of my past girlfriends had told me sometime in the past that because of my good morals, saving my money, not a drinker or a loser, go to church and pray (not very religious through), that I'm gold to women. Right. She lost interest in me and that's why she left me.
My family lives way too far to visit them frequently and they can't visit me because they're poor.
Beat my socially pathetic life! Is yours more pathetic? Prove it.
To May: Yes, I am humble and nice, but I've noticed one has to have a human connection and socialize and be funny. Nice house, nice car that I have, for nothing. Once, I tried to invite people for a get-together, only 2 showed up. They left shortly, knowing nobody else was showing up. Food and drinks wasted!

Where did the 65th square come from?!?
A Geometry trick that involves Golden Ratio proportions that appears to break the laws of physics/reality has really started to nag at the back of my mind lately. You start off with a grid 8 x 8, divide it into 4 triangle/stubs, and rearrange them to get a grid 8 x 13! so you go from 64 square 'feet' to 65! Heres a link to a picture of it drawn out on graph paper: Click Herewhile initially a neat trick/oddity, it has lately begun to bother me: where DOES that extra square come from? Lets put mass into the equation: if each square= 1 ounce, then does cutting them up and rearranging them just so make the whole thing A= Heavier? or B= the same weight?
Either option breaks the laws of reality as I understand them. If A, then where did the extra mass come from? If B, then we somehow made each square weigh LESS by 1/64th of an ounce, simply by rearranging the blocks around.
I wonder if anyone has ever done controlled experiment on this: making individual blocks of some resin, carefully controlled so each full square weighs a set amount, then assemble the individual blocks into the 8 x 8 arrangement, weighing it, then rearranging them into the 8 x 13 arrangement.. just so see where/what is going on here.
See? The more I look into it, the more crazy it seems. I hope somebody out there has some sort of answer as to whats going on here. If no one has any idea, then I may just start up my own Gold Bar growing business.. making profits 1/64 th a unit of measure at a time.

At the end of the problem you get .78g/mL at 86 F the multiply by 99% to get it at 40 c.

hello, im in desperate need of some info. A few days ago i purchased a used 05 chevy equinox it drove fine no check engine lights or anything, i got it home and the next day went to change a head light n noticed the driver side a/c condensor and radiator had a HUGE dent in it and was only held in by 1 bolt, so i took off the grille and thats when i saw the mess that i had bought. The impact bar was creased and airbag sensor was missing major dent that went from a/c condensor to the radiator, the core support had been hammered on and body filler was used to "repair" it along with some gold spray paint. I then questioned myself did airbags deploy no sign of it, the airbag light on the dash is visiable when u start the car but flashes about 4 or 5 times then shuts off. Thiers also a long list of items that could kill the engine/ tranny that we also discovered.(also i might add the dealer had said nothing about these problems) i quote" its a great car and everythings ok" thinking we met a nice trustworthy dealer, we signed the papers and title and made our way home....we have a carfax of it and it showed no accidents not salvage/ rebuilt title...clean and clear everything looks great on the carfax. We looked on national vehicycle motor title info center for anything and it was clear to despite the fact the car has leather interior but the (nvmt) said cloth. could i possibly sue this dealer for fraud or am i screwed? please heplQuestion #16:
