Would my PRODICTED GCSE results be good enough for collage?

I plan to go to one of the top boarding schools in the country (specifically I am looking at: uppingham, rugby, Stowe, wellington, Cheltenham) for sixth form and was wondering what the minimum gcse results I need for acceptance. I am PREDICTED; art- A*. Product design- A* Geography- A* Maths- A*. Business- B. Eng lit- B. Eng Lang- B. Physics- C. I also have a diploma in ict (ecdl), will have finished D of E to silver and done young enterprise With all that do you think I will get excepted? Also I only take 8 GCSEs will that be a hindrance?
Also with these results would I be able to do architecture
To the guy below am very dyslexic but spelling accounts to about 8% (dats why it's not an A)

This is what I did in Highschool so far, can I still get in anywhere?

Please be honest, thank you.
Freshman year, I was depressed, my GPA was about a 2.5
Sophomore year, I had no motivation, and was really lazy. My quarter grades
were really low, but my final exam grades were As, because I decided to try at the last minute. But still, my GPA ended up being a 2.4.

I have my junior year left, because I hear that colleges will not have a chance to really look at your
senior grades, since you start applying begginning of 12th grade.

So, basically I have 1 year to bring up my GPA.
Even if I get straight As my junior year, the total avg gpa of the 3 years will be a 2.96

Freshman year, I won a silver medal for the National Latin Exam, stayed after for small clubs like art club, cake club..etc
Sophomore year, I was in key club, and volunteered a few hours.

Will colleges even take time to read my essay? I am thinking about writing about everything I went through, what I have in mind.. what my goals are.. and such.

Harry potter 7 book questions please help?

Here are some questions that i have that i havent found the answers to and i know some of them are pointless but im just curious

1) Why is it that when Harry, Ron, and Hermione touched the horcruxes that they didnt get cursed but dumbledore did when he put on the ring and if it were a matter of wearing the horcrux them three wore the locket and they didnt get cursed?

2) How did Snape not find out about the Horcrux when he knew about the ring and he knew dumbledore destroyed it if he was so adept at the dark arts and he definitely should have figured it out when dumbledore told him to giive harry the sword?

3) In the book when every someone is in a tight spot and they have o hurt someone to get out of it how come its always that same guy Dawlish? He is never in the story besides when someone recounts an event and they say they messed him up pretty badly.

4) Right before the battle of Horgwarts mcgonagal tells filch to go find peeves. Why does she want him because it isnt mentioned later on in the books? Is it just because he would be a good defense because of all his jokes and stuff?

5) When Harry first goes up to the headmasters office and he sees dumbledores empty frame why doesnt he just call him because that is what he did with phineaus nigellus so why didnt he do the same with dd portrait?

6) When Harry and Hermione were in the graveyard what was the creature in the bushes that they heard? Was it just Nagini in Bathildas body?

7) In the chapter the silver doe when he saw the sword but didnt know how to get it he heard a voice in his head about Gryffindors was that Snape applying Occume-whatever- it- is because it didnt say that he thought it it just said he heard a voice in his head so could it have been snape?

8) Why is it that none of the death eaters cast one of those talking patronus things to find Harry? Rons dad sent one to them so why couldnt the death eaters do it and just follow it to find him?

9) Why was Voldemort so hesitant about killing Lily?

10) This question is about the movie. In the movie are danielle radcliffe and emma watson going to kiss because they did inside of the horcrux and if they cut that out of the movie it is going to be missing a HUGE part of the entire story?

11) Last question. Was grindelwald stronger than Voldemort? I know it says that Voldemort topped Grindelwald as the most evil but Dumbledore said that he and Grindelwald were about equal and he was only a very tiny bit better than him but that was when dumbledore was in his prime but voldemort couldne even handle dumbledore when he was old as hell and already dying so wouldnt that mean that grindelwald is stronger than voldemort? And also it said that the only reason why voldemort topped grindelwald was because he was in a different country so i am almost certain that grindelwald was better than voldemort but what do you think?

ok so i love art and i love recycling, so me and my friends found a way to combine them. for example, my friend made a purse out of empty juice pouches!!! so cool! but the problem is...i feel artsy today and i want some ideas on things i can possibly make from 1 of the following;
-sprite cans (no tabs)
-coke cans (no tabs)
-green and silver can tabs
-gatorade bottles (no caps)

I need brutal honesty: Did I get dumped for being poor?

My boyfriend of almost a year recently gave me the "I don't want a relationship right now" line. He's a good person; we started out as friends first. He's a couple years younger than me (I'm 30; he's 28) and very accomplished; he has a masters in chemical engineering and has a great job--one of the youngest people with his title in his field. He comes from a very different financial background than me. He never had to work a day before finishing his education, as his parents are very wealthy. Most of his friends are doctors and other professional types born with silver spoons in their mouths.

Some of his friends (especially female ones) did not trust me because I drive an old car and I work in humble jobs and live in a tiny apartment. He was honest enough to tell me this. I think his mother felt the same way.

I know he's not seeing anyone else. But he started acting strangely when he found out I have a large student loan I'm still paying for. He knows I work hard and admires my work ethic. I've gone back to college for a nursing degree. I have about $18,000 on an old student loan for my art degree (which can't earn me anything, I've sadly learned). I work in a retail job and I bartend on the weekends, while taking two classes (all I have time and money for--but I'm not going to give up). Why should he care about my debts? I've never asked him for money, and I wouldn't accept any if he offered it.

I'm NOT a golddigger, and even though I couldn't pay for restaurants and gifts like my boyfriend could, I contributed what I was able to: making dinner, giving him things I made myself, that sort of thing. In his own words, I'm the sweetest and kindest person he's ever known. I made it clear that I want to stand on my own feet financially, and some day I will do this. I never want to be a stay-at-home-housewife who spends her husband's money.

My question is this: If I was left for being a possible financial liability, isn't that wrong and shallow? Even though I love this man and he still wants to be friends with me, was I going "out of my league" dating someone from such a wealthier background than mine?
Since our breakup (about six weeks ago), he's been calling me and chatting with me online more than ever. I'm not trying to read too much into anything, but I think he at least somewhat regrets breaking things off. He sounds like he misses me, which tells me the breakup wasn't his idea alone. It's hard to go back to being friends like we were before; I am too hurt and confused.

Teen moving from Pennsylvania to San Francisco... help?

I'm a 15 year old girl and my parents want to relocate from Pennsylvania to San Francisco... I'm terrified. My father got an amazing job there and moving is our only choice.

A few reasons that I would be open to moving:
1) I have a guaranteed spot at The School Of the Arts since my dad will work in the district.
2) I'll be able to drive my dad's silver corvette, since I'd be old enough to drive.
3) I've never lived in a city before.

Reasons I don't want to move:
1) My boyfriend of a year that is so important to me.
2) My great friends.
3) My parents lied to me about the condition our monehigh school
so they sprung this decision on me.
4) I only have 2 more years of highschool left,so why move now?

Will a UK iTunes voucher work in the USA?

I have a UK iTunes voucher I don't want - it's completely fresh, the silver panel hasn't even been scratched off the back.

I have a friend in the USA who is interested in swapping the iTunes voucher for some art over the internet; in other words, she'd draw my dog for me, and I'd send her the code off the back of the voucher to put into her iTunes account.

Would that work? I know that the vouchers are only supposed to be used in the country of purchase but I've had friends who've been sent iTunes vouchers from the USA for UK use and they work fine. I just don't know if it's possible the other way around?

OH! (again...) its my birthday in september and i usually get $200-300. so, im gonna add that for my room.. but if i dont need the extra money, ill spend it on shopping.... lol.. hahahah.. :)
