Looping and Jamming Problem with sewing machine?
I'm new to sewing borrowed this Silver Pfaff Silmatic 1129 from a friend. I noticed the problem when I was trying to get the lower bobbin thread out. The upper thread gets stuck on a t-shaped bar at the top of the bobbin compartment. I've read all the answers I could find online, nothing helped!I can pull the loop out if I do a to and fro motion with the hand wheel, but of course if I carry on sewing I have these terrible loops under the fabric and a clump of thread between fabric and the sewing plate.
I've read the manual through out, re-threaded a hundred times, cleaned, oiled the bobbin case, changed needle, changed bobbin etc, same. To see what was going on, I took the sewing plate off and watched as I was turning the wheel. The loop gets formed, but when it is brought up, gets stuck at a T-shaped bar at the top, not being let out by the two little stumps at the top of the bobbin case compartment. A quick to and fro motion with the hand wheel moves these stumps a teensy bit, hence i can pull the stuck thread out, but it is not a solution to get me sewing!
Don't want to give up before I start! Please help!

Tomorrow I am turning 21. Hooray for me! I got tickets to a concert in my area, and the venue as several full and mini bars, so I'm never far from a bartender. So, what's my problem? I have no idea what to order. I have never been to this place before and the website doesn't exactly give me a menu of beverages. I have drank here or there on a few occasions and have found that I am not a big fan of beer or any drink that I taste mainly the alcohol in. Purple bump developed on back of cartilage piercing?
I got my cartilage piercing done 6 weeks ago at a reputable piercing place and it was done with a needle and the earring is one of those silver bars with a ball on the end and is surgical steel (sorry I don't know what its called).I followed the cleaning instructions and had no problems what so ever with it, up until yesterday.
I went to clean the piercing yesterday and noticed that a bump has formed around the back of the piercing, underneath the flat back of the earring and the piercing goes through the middle of it. The bump is raised so high that I can no longer push the earring back and forwards like I used to be able to.
The bump is sort of purple in colour. I think it might be an infection as it has made the whole top of my ear go a bit red and it feels really warm to touch, but it doesn't hurt at all, but I'm scared it could be one of those keloid things, but it seems a bit random that whatever it is, just appeared after 6 weeks when it was fine before.
What should I do? I have carried on cleaning it like normal, but it hasn't gone down at all since last night.
I am not going to take the earring out, because there is no way I am going to be able to get it back in if I do. I don't really want to go to the doctor either, because I don't want them to tell me to take the earring out, if it isn't really necessary. It cost me $60 and yesterday was meant to be the day I could technically change the earring (even though I was going to leave it in for longer, so it would heal properly) and it seems like a waste to just take the earring out after 6 weeks.

I've had the same belly bar in for nearly 2 years now because of this i'm fed up!!I received this one as a gift and left it in for 3 months thinking nothing of it, however when i went to change it i couldn't put any of my old ones in.
It is a white gold one, and the gauge is thinner than the normal stainless steel/silver ones etc.
Is there anyway i can stretch it back? Do i have to just force it through??? ohh the pain!!!!

1) Dad died, left me cash. I decided I never wanted to pay rent or make a mortgage payment. I used the money to buy a house free and clear. It was, admittedly a stupid decision. I bought a house in Echo Park, Los Angeles, which is a BAD neighborhood. I did this because A) I didn't know HOW bad and B) It is close to a large community in Los Angeles of MY people (Silver Lake).2) So I fortified the House: Burglar Doors, Burglar Bars, Gate now has huge Master Lock, motion activated floodlights, very expensive unpickable locks that cannot be copied at a locksmith, alarm, Walter PP 7.65mm jammed in my belt when I step outside to take out the trash, pump action 20 gauge with buckshot in the closet, 9 mm Makarov wrapped in a towel, shoved up in the upholstery of my driver's seat in my car. And a dog.
3) Boy, did the pound see me coming. I know nothing about dogs. I assumed German Shepherds were the best. (What do I know). So I went to the pound. I went to get a German Shepherd. The guy at the pound decide to unload a big dog. There is a dog called a "Shiloh Shepherd." It is HUGE. Breed standard for German Shepherds males is 85 pounds. This thing is 115 pounds. And still growing. And it has a huge fluffy coat. It LOOKS like it could protect you. WRONG. It has had all the good working protection instinct bred out of it. It is bred to be BIG and have a pretty, fluffy coat. Most German Shepherds are higly intellIgent. This dog is a moron. The dog doesn't understand "Fetch." I throw the stick or ball, and the dog just stares at me with eyes of moronic love thinking "Wow Master! You are the Greatest! It's so cool the way you make that ball move through the air. Amazing!' The dog is a coward. Instead of staying outside at night to protect me, he whines and wants to sleep in the house with me. He doesn't stay outside and growl at bad guys. He stays in the air conditioned house and follows me from room to room. He is afraid of thunder, gunshots/backfires/firecrackers, strangers, and fire engines and sirens. He hates being alone and has a spastic fit of joy everytime I come home. When startled in the house, he runs whining to me for protection. So here I have a dog as big as I am (I am 118 pounds) and I have these enormous logs outside to clean up every day, I have vet bills, I have to pay for dog food, and I have to clean his nasty food and water dish, and bathe his smelly carcass in the tub once a week.
4) Is there any way to make this dog useful, and a protection dog? Or do I just need to write him off, take him back to the pound, and go buy the meanest pit bull I can from one of the neighbors (who all have pit bulls)?

Hey, this is kind of random but i needed someone's help.Today, I went to a theme park with my friend and my sisters. While we were waiting on line, I saw these two girls from my old school that I knew as aquaintences. I was polite and said hi and introduced them to my friend, and one girl just said hi, how are you, blah, while the other just gave me a dirty look. We finished the ride and got on line for something else, and they were on line like 10 people behind us, but you could still see them and hear them. I was nice and smiled once when we passed them when the line would move and we would be on the other side of them behind those silver bar line resticter things, and one smiled back and the other just stared at me funny. as we were moving and i was laughing with my friend, i heard the dity look girl say "i never really liked her and neither did anyone else", and the other "seemingly" polite girl said "yeah, she was a loser". (f.y.i. left the school a year ago) Nice, huh? and as we got on the ride, they kept staring at us and whispering the whole entire time. I felt really bad after hearing that. I tried to enjoy the rest of my day, but i couldnt. my mom and sister and friend told me not to be bothered by them, (just so you know, not to be mean or judgemental or anything, but they're overweight and not miss america contestants, if you know what i mean), (and the friend i keep in touch with from my old school say that no one likes them and everyone thinks they're fat, ugly, and annoying), but i still feel really upset. And it bothered me because another two popular girls from my old school said on facebook that no one liked me, i will still and always be a loser, i was poor, ugly, and had no friends. you can't just let something like that leave you. my other friend from my old school told me that it wasn't true, that people liked me and that i was pretty, and that the what the other girls said wasn't true, (not to be shallow or self-centered, but a bunch of other people told me that i was 100000 times prettier and funnier than the other girls, again their opinions not mine)but i still thought it was true. at my new school, i only have 3 or 4 friends, but they all have other friends, and i also have my 2 friends from my old school and another friend who lives farther away, and i dont have bucketloads of friends to do things with. so im beginning to think its true. im really quiet, and i stay out of people's way, im not loud, and i really don't bother people, i live in a normal house, have a normal family, wear normal clothes, have a normal dog, do normal things, i have light brown hair and dark brown eyes, i'm thin and sort of lanky, average height, im not really considered popular in school, basically the average 8th grader. so i dont understand why anything would think im a loser )= i get a's and b's in school, and i never did anything to those girls to bother them )= please help, i know i sound really desperate and stupid, but i cant help it. i feel like crying and laying in bed.
